Welcome to St. Thomas Parish Cooperative Day School!

St. Thomas Parish Cooperative Day School is located on the beautiful grounds of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Owings Mills, Maryland. Although the school is non-denominational, we do provide a Christian atmosphere. The primary goals of St. Thomas Parish Cooperative Day School are:

~ To encourage the individual development of the preschool child

~ To provide a successful transition between home and school

~ To provide an environment for cooperative involvement for parents

The varied program is intended to help each child achieve independence, self-expression, improved sensory and motor skills and a sense of responsibility. The program includes structured activities such as story time, circle time, snack time and field trips, as well as free play.

One special and integral aspect of St. Thomas Parish Cooperative Day School is parent participation which offers the parent the unique opporunity to share and enjoy their child's first school experience! Parents participating in the co-op are required to assist in their child's classroom on a rotating basis. Along with providing the teachers with an extra pair of eyes, hands and ears, the participating parent is also responsible for selecting and bringing a healthy snack for the children. Your partipation day is truly a memorable experience!
